Head of projects in the Biodiversity Department.

He holds a Biology Degree and joined the Minuartia team in 2001.

He is specialised in projects on fauna and infrastructure management, and has extensive experience in undertaking and coordinating studies on hunted species, and particularly on ungulates. Such studies focus on monitoring populations, assessing their impact and drawing up management proposals.

He has participated in numerous studies to analyse ecological connectivity and define measures to correct and compensate for the impact of dual carriageways, high speed railways, canals, etc., particularly in relation to the location and characteristics of fauna passages. He has also been involved in research to monitor the use of these passages in various infrastructures and to analyse road accidents caused by collisions with wild fauna. He has been in charge of applying and monitoring preventative measures.

Other projects on infrastructure and fauna management have been undertaken on birdstrike prevention at airports. In this area, he coordinates work on the 'Comprehensive programme for managing birdstrike risk at Barcelona Airport'. He has also coordinated studies to establish alternative colonies for cormorants that use areas affected by the expansion of Barcelona Port.
