Born in Granollers in 1974.
Head of projects in the Sustainability and Climate Change Department. She joined Minuartia in 2006.
She holds an Environmental Science Degree, a postgraduate qualification in Municipal, Industrial, Construction and Special Waste Management and a Master's Degree in Neurolinguistic Programming. She has worked in environmental consultancy since 1996.
She calculates the carbon footprint of companies, organisations and events and designs strategies to mitigate and adapt to climate change. She is part of the team that is developing a tool for carbon accounting for Ihobe-companies and is joint head of an innovative project promoted by Ihobe to design a municipal programme for climate change adaptation.
In the business sector, she undertakes corporate social responsibility projects and projects to introduce environmental management systems in all kinds of organisations.
She has extensive experience in the calculation of local sustainability indicators, and has participated in the calculation of indicators for Udalsarea 21, the Basque Network of Municipalities for Sustainability, and for the Network of Cities and Towns for Sustainability. In addition, she has worked on the planning and assessment of public local sustainability policies, through the design and systematic assessment of action plans.
She has coordinated various participation processes associated with assessing European rural development programmes (Leader), the development of a Water Framework Directive for Catalonia, the revision and formulation of urban plans, and processes for designing, implementing and assessing Local Agenda 21. In addition, she coordinates publications in the Sustainability and Climate Change Department.
