Born in Cardedeu in 1970.
Head of the Systems and Quality Department. He joined the Minuartia team in 2002.
He holds an Agricultural Engineering Degree, with a specialisation in Environmental Management from the University of Lleida (2001), and an Agricultural Engineering Diploma, with a specialisation in Agricultural Industries, from the Technical University of Catalonia (1995).
He is an expert in the environmental assessment of plans and programmes, and has led and participated in numerous environmental assessment and urban planning projects and in drawing up special plans to protect areas of environmental interest.
He has specialised in regional analysis in the framework of various plans and studies, and has participated in the development of models or regional analysis based on the use of Geographic Information Systems.
He has good knowledge of the agrarian sector and extensive experience of studies in this field, both in terms of technical management projects and rural analysis and development.
In the field of municipal management, he has coordinated various municipal environmental audits. He has been responsible for analysing environmental vectors (water cycle, waste management, energy consumption and atmospheric pollution) and regional aspects (agrarian sector, risks, and financial activities) in many other environmental audits.
He has extensive experience in the design and calculation of regional sustainability indicator systems for numerous municipalities in different Spanish autonomous communities (Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, la Rioja, the Basque Country). Notably, he participated in calculating Spain's ecological footprint.
He has designed and assessed the implementation of several environmental management systems, in accordance with the European EMAS regulation and with ISO 14001. he has also participated in processes for promoting and implementing social responsibility measures in companies.
He is coauthor of publications linked to territorial planning, waste management, municipal gardening and environmental sustainability indicators.
